For me art is about communicating with other people. Reaching out in a visual way and putting it out there. Artist Matthew Sawyer bought a Granny Smith apple from the same fruit vender every day. Finally the fruit vender anticipated Matthew's request and said, One Granny, isn't it? This is what's Matthew's project was about. Being recognized in a sea of humanity.
